In a joint statement, the five major economic organizations, including the Federation of Korean Industries(FKI), pressed the government to deal sternly with the four-hour sympathy strike by unionized automobile workers under the wing of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU). 
공동성명에서 전경련 등 5개 경제단체는 정부가 민주노총 산하 자동차 노조원들의 4시간 동조파업을 단호하게 다뤄야 한다고 강조했다.

reinstate dismissed workers 해고자를 복직시키다
They added that a demand to suspend privatization and reinstate dismissed workers is not a subject the union can demand. But they said agreement on such issues as working conditions can be reached through talks between management and union. 
이들은 민영화를 중단하고 해고노동자를 복직하라는 요구는 노조가 요구할 수 있는 사안이 아니라고 덧붙였다. 하지만 노동조건 등의 쟁점은 노사간 대화를 통해 합의할 수 있다고 말했다.

They also stressed that the no-work-no-pay principle must be upheld, and that scabs must called in to continue the operations of the affected companies.
